Graeme & Cora's wedding in Cambridge was a fantastic day, and one I'm not likely to forget in a hurry! Everything had been thought about and it all came together perfectly to create a wonderful day for everyone.
The girls had a lovely relaxed morning filled with strawberries, champagne, and dressing gowns - a perfect way to start the day. Meanwhile, the boys enjoyed a nerve-calming drink in the pub after I whipped them off to the local farmer's field! I love chilled-out mornings, and this was definitely one of those :) Vintage buses brought guests to the pub for a sneaky one before the main event - I'm sure the slight delay was deliberate so there was time for two!
St. Mary's church in Hardwick was the beautiful setting for Graeme and Cora to get married, and the sun was incredibly kind to make it a perfect venue. After that it was back to the pub for the most incredible scotch eggs you will ever taste - thankfully I managed to find time to force one down!
Their reception was at Longstowe Hall - a very grand house with lovely grounds to get some fantastic shots of the newly weds. Everything was going perfectly, until the best men decided it would be funny to virtually drop Cora when picking her up! Hopefully I haven't landed Graeme in too much trouble by documenting his amusement...
After a fantastic meal, it was time for some brilliant speeches - I'm not sure Cora realised she was going to suffer at Phil's hand as well as Graeme though! Finally the dancefloor awaited the happy couple, and the fantastic band kept things going all night... all the way up until shirts-off! The clue's in the name for that one, and I was on hand to document it of course :)
I had an amazing time photographing Graeme and Cora's wedding, and I wish both of them well in their future together. Below is a short video that summarises the day, the photos are underneath.
